Ryan Star

No beach, no sun, just music.

Out in LA finishing up my album with producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Daughtery) and we are finishing strong indeed. Today was a great day. Could you feel it?

Hope you are all rocking in your own way!!!

All work and no play? Maybe that means you’ll get your album out faster so you can play with us. :)

So glad that this is your last week of recording…I’m sure the album is gonna be fantastic. I honestly can’t wait to hear the new tunes! :-)

With all that wattage coming from those amps, I CAN FEEL IT all the way across the U.S. here in Maine!!! Can’t wait!

I feel like a kid waiting for the cookies to come out of the oven. Like my stepdaughter used to say, “It’s taking a long time!”

I know it will be worth the wait though ;)

I can feel it.. so excited to hear all that you’ve been working on. I love the passion you put into your music. You could sing Mary had a little lamb and it would be amazing;-)

    what Shannon said, dude.

You’ve got to have a little time to play. It’s supposed to be a warm weekend. Perfect for a secret show.

Not that I’m asking or anything. Okay, maybe I am.

Besides all work and no play makes Ryan a dull boy.

    Or however that goes.

Okay, so I’ve been a fan since seeing you on “that show” . I was kind of glad you didn’t win (sounds weird, I know) but I could see (and hear) you were better than being a front man for some other gig. You were and are your own frontman. Downloaded Last Train Home from p.s. I love you sndtrk a while back and had it on my ipod. I was listening the other day and came across the song - couldn’t remember who it was - no screen on my player - I listened to that song at least 4 times in a row thinking I know that voice. When it did come to me, I was so overwhelmed that tears started running down my cheeks. I could “feel” the pain and heart ache like it was about me. My own teenage romance days are long past but there’s something universal about forbidden love. Can’t wait for your album.

Um… feel what? I’m trying to remember :(. 3? hrs sleep within 48 and 12 hrs on the road, but that’s entertainment. What I won’t do for a little me time and to spend time with friends. I am feeling to numb to much :(. Any dates to list?

Marshall marshall marshall marshall :P oh come on chuck in a peavey or something :P

With a producer like that, maybe it’ll be a heavier album than people will anticipate.

Looks awesome, can’t wait to hear the next bit of news

Fantastic! looking forward to hearing your newest Ryan. I just got my copy of Songs from the eye of the elephant from cdbaby.com.

Listening to it at work, and it’s making my day that’s for sure! I will do my best to see if i can lure others into purchasing it as well.

  15. Kelli Says:

    HEY.
Stop coming to LA and not calling me!! I know you’re busy but I could come to you… if even for five minutes!! I want to see you!
